Mentoring with Lisa

Alchemy’s mentoring programs are at the very heart of the studio’s mission to provide deeply individualized and meaningful development to those who seek it. I believe that learning is most effective when the teacher can teach to the student.

Group classes can be an excellent way for students to get a feel for a teacher’s methodology and presence, and group classes offer a sense of community and common goals. Group classes inevitably fall short, though, once students are ready to expand their individual learning and practice experience. What was once an encouraging and engaging practice becomes stifling and uninspired. This is where mentoring truly shines. Students are encouraged and challenged to explore their own practice within their beliefs, inspirations, and limitations/potential.

Mentoring is a commitment, and it is deeply rewarding for the student who is willing to deepen their practice. If you are interested in Alchemy Studio’s mentoring programs, I encourage you to contact me directly to discuss your needs, challenges, and desires.

Please note: the mentoring program is full until the end of 2023. If you have interest in mentoring with Lisa and would like to add your name to the waiting list, please use the contact form below.

MENTORING TOPICS AND IDEAS:

Yoga student intensive
Perfect for the student who wants to deepen their individual practice and seeks direction and guidance on that path.
Yoga teacher intensive
Suited for both new teachers who want more knowledge after their initial training as well as the experienced teacher seeking to re-energize and inspire their teaching practice.
Intuitive development
We all have different strengths and talents when it comes to intuition. Knowing how to support, challenge, and inspire those strengths leads to more confidence and wisdom in an intuitive practice.
Shamanic principles and practices
There is a whole world of shamanic practice beyond journeying. Students will receive lessons in hands-on crafting, the selection and use of tools and objects in nature, and a host of other topics and resources for continuing study.
Personal practices for a more embodied life
So life happens, and it comes at us fast. Mentoring can offer a compassionate ear and gentle guidance during those times of difficulty and transition.

Each mentoring program is a commitment of 3 months, whether at the Basic or Dedicated level, after which the option to continue at the end of 3 months is available.
