Introduction to Shamanic Journeying

Introduction to Shamanic Journeying

The spirit journey is a time-honored shamanic method of inner consultation. It is a way of communicating with your inner or spirit self and retrieving information. Your inner self is in constant communication with all aspects of your environment, seen and unseen. You need only journey within to find answers to your questions. Most people have inadvertently journeyed more than once in their lives, although most are unaware they are journeying. The process is much like daydreaming, and we do it all the time as children.

This workshop is the first step in understanding how to safely journey with specific intention for information and healing. Using the sound and power of live drumming, students are able to directly experience the time-honored, personal traditions of inner consultation and communication. There is plenty of time allotted during and at the end of the workshop for group discussion.

This intro to journeying is not a specific course in Shamanism, nor is it training in Shamanism, and students of all beliefs and faiths are welcome to participate. Please bring a blanket and pillow if desired and wear comfortable clothing.

Due to the nature of this workshop and ongoing covid restrictions, studio space is extremely limited. Alchemy Studio follows continues to follow recommended CDC guidelines to create a safe and healthy environment for its students, clients, and teachers. We ask that only fully vaccinated students attend in person. Please contact us for virtual options.
